Inspired by the organic shapes and texture of sand cast metal, console table by Barcelona-based Mermelada Estudio feels sleek with subtle texture that gives the piece a "found" look. Natural pitting from the casting process lends an industrial aesthetic, while a polished black nickel finish adds a soft shine. "Hollis was conceived as an exploration of simplicity elevated to sculpture. Its design begins with a pure, elemental form, elevated by the use of generous curves and softened edges," the designers explain. CB2 exclusive.
